What I truly appreciate about the music video is the type of animation that was used considering I haven’t necessarily seen this style utilized for visuals in the past, at least from what I can remember. Within his lyrics that just further emphasize these depressing thoughts going through his mind, Juice talks about how he takes drugs basically hoping and wishing that they make him better and cure his depression, but he recognizes that this is just a reoccurring cycle that’s actually ultimately hurting him more. The harmonies he uses throughout are just so emotional, and you can feel his pain within every word, which is something that no one can do quite as Juice could. ![]() He does this by almost shouting his lyrics as if to subconsciously ask for attention from those who aren’t noticing or recognizing the struggles he’s going through. Despite how moving the instrumental might be, Juice clearly steals the show with his abundantly intense and passionate delivery. Eventually, crisp percussion, piano keys, and succinct drums enter the picture and add some vitality to this offering. As the beat begins, a Punk Rock sounding guitar riffs and gives off a few different feelings, sometimes sounding optimistic before changing in the blink of an eye and sounding hopeless. As for his new visual for one of the standout songs “Wishing Well”, his camp decided to bring this track to life in an animated visual which was a delightful surprise. Obviously, it’s a complete downer that most of his music videos at this point need to be made up of old recordings and things of that nature, but I still love watching these clips of Juice regardless. The selected features all elevated Juice and he impacted their portions as well, the beats complimented his vast collection of different styles, and he was just able to show the world yet again how much of a once in a lifetime artist he really was. Personally, I think the first day it came out I listened to it on repeat at least four or five times because it just blew me away, and every new listen I would discover something different that would impress me even more. It touched on so many different topics and offered such a variety of all of the skills Juice possessed, truly giving fans a little taste of everything he could do so well. It’s no secret that Juice WRLD’s most recent posthumous album Legends Never Die was a smash hit.
